The award of the Joint State Response Training System contract to ECS is significant as it is the company’s largest contract award to date and places the company in a prime role with a dynamic team approach to address the JSRTS requirements.  ECS will increase its staff in Orlando as a result
of the contract award.

“The National Guard Bureau J7 is excited about working with Engineering and Computer
Simulations on the Joint State Response Training System (JSRTS) IDIQ contract,” stated
Lieutenant Colonel Greg Pickell, Chief of the Training Technologies and Experimentation
Branch in the Joint Advanced Concepts Division at the National Guard Bureau, J7.  “The
technologies developed under this contract will enhance the ability of National Guard
soldiers and leaders across the nation in their efforts to provide support for domestic
emergencies.  We believe that ECS and its associated industry team members will be
instrumental in making the JSRTS vision a reality.”

The winning ECS team includes Applied Research Associates, Orlando, Florida;  Aristatek, Laramie, Wyoming; Concurrent Technologies Corporation, Johnstown, Pennsylvania; MediaTech, Centerville, Iowa; Mountain Top Technologies, Johnstown, Pennsylvania; Camber Corporation, Orlando, Florida;  and Dreamhammer, Santa Monica, California.

“The award of the JSRTS contract is pivotal to the future of ECS.  ECS is proud to have served the National Guard Bureau for over five years and is happy to have been selected to continue our service by providing key technologies that will enhance training for our National Guard troops,” said Waymon Armstrong, President of ECS.  “The ECS team is an experienced, high-performing resource that stands ready to react to the National Guard’s training requirements.”
