Omega Games Taps ECS to Lead the Way with On-Line RANGER Game

September 5, 2012, Orlando, FL - The RANGER solitaire board game is a top-selling wargame that people have played for over 30 years. The realistic game is widely popular with military members around the world. It has also proven to be a success with cross-over players who do not play traditional wargames. Separate versions of the game simulate patrolling in wooded, mountain, jungle, and desert terrain.

 

"The on-line version of RANGER will enable the player to focus on playing the game itself instead of having the additional task of dealing with a board wargame's administration," said Joe O'Connell, VP of Business Development, ECS. Omega Games will debut the on-line version of RANGER at the upcoming Maneuver Warfighting Conference, being held at the Iron Works Convention Center, Columbus, Georgia from September 18-20, 2012. (Omega Games will be located at booth 7000.) Attendees will be able to see a sample demonstration of the on-line game along with a promotional video trailer of the anticipated, future, on-line game.
