ECS is seeking a full time Senior Data Scientists who will consistently perform analysis and translate business needs to create high-quality Business Requirements and Functional Specifications documentation within specified time frames to solve most complex problems (multiple interfaces with other systems across multiple business units) considering all impacted components from an end-to-end perspective. Our Senior Data Scientists ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements is complete and applies specific functional and/or business expertise to perform assigned tasks and develop specific project deliverables. They will conduct impact analysis of technology changes on business processes and existing technology and is competent to work at the highest technical capacity on most phases of the business systems analysis. They will contribute to the review of Test Planning and Test Execution strategies and create the appropriate User-Interface Model(s) to support projects. They will develop business workflow diagrams: assisting the development of data models and interface design specifications; and document, track, and resolve issues related to data quality. They will contribute to the design and mapping of data conversion strategies and participate in collaborative system and data design sessions with the user community, technical architecture resources, and development resources. They will complete project activities on time and within budget, and proactively identify and communicate issues that may jeopardize milestones or project budget to the Project Manager. Our Senior Data Scientists are versed in strategic policy guidance and are familiar with the higher headquarter offices that develop government policy that effects the configuration of the Learning Services Ecosystem.
- Minimum/General Experience: 5+ years of industry experience.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in associated discipline area.
- Software -Microsoft Azure Cloud, Erwin Data Modeler, Unicom System Architect, Alteryx Designer/Server, Verint, HDInsight, Qlik Sense, Assess Fast Test, among other COTS.
Team ECS provides Analysis & Advisory (A&A) SME Services to the AF Learning Services Ecosystem (AFLSE) PMO in the data architecture, engineering, and infrastructure domains. Areas of expertise consist of providing Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) technical review services and deliverables submitted by other integrators, Community Force (CF), Datum and iPerformX, representing the PMO in technical collaboration sessions, and engaging with other integrators to find solutions to complex problems. Specifically, teaming up with the legacy functional and technical communities to gather requirements, baseline data dictionaries, logical and physical data models for the legacy applications ADLS, ALR, TTMS, TFTR, PTS, and OAD so that those legacy capabilities can be migrated to the AFLSE IL-4 Govt. Cloud.
ECS oversees the overall data integration of external interfaces i.e. MilPDS, which includes collaborating to produce ISA, ICS, ICD, MoU artifacts with the various agencies i.e. AFPOA that will interface with the AFLSE Ecosystem in the cloud as well as developing and testing secure interface communication using government-approved technologies. From the data security realm, ECS provides A&A Services in the ATO, RBAC, and MFA enterprise efforts for the AFLSE.
ECS is also teaming up with vendor iPerformX and the AFLSE PMO in participating with a Multi-Functional Teams (MFT) to deliver a cohesive architecture to host Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) and High Definition Video Content (HDVC) training capabilities for the Airmen in the AFLSE.
