Description

ECS is seeking a Research Assistant with a background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology to join a dynamic, high performing team supporting defense training research. We need someone with an academic background in quantitative and qualitative analyses, literature review, survey instrument design, and research methods. This position works directly with Task Leads, Developers, and Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of research projects, including contribution to proposals and final reports. This position will also contribute to instructional design tasks related to training prototypes. This position falls under the supervision of the Director of Instructional Science.

Required:

  • Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experienced with applied research methods
  • Must have excellent writing skills and experience with APA writing style
  • Must have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work with Instructional Designers, Programmers, Graphic Artists, and Subject Matter Experts
  • Must be capable of multitasking, and working within deadlines
  • Familiarity with conducting Training Effectiveness Evaluations or similar evaluation activities
  • Familiarity with learning science, adult learning, or instructional design is beneficial
  • Military and/or Aviation experience or background is beneficial
