Description:

  • Review developed training courseware to include verification of the media functionality on Government operating Systems prior to the Government Preliminary and Final product reviews.
    • Coordinate and host the review event thru SID.
    • Maintain the SharePoint Excel file for each course, capture any discrepancies identified by the Government team on a comment tracker and provide clarity to the development team and course author as needed to ensure an accurate interpretation of the noted issues.
    • After changes are implemented, verify the corrections applied and coordinate a follow-on Government review.
  • Responsible for the technical writing of aircraft maintenance tasks including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, and ground testing of assemblies, system, and surfaces for one or more types of rotary wing military aircraft.
  • Provide SME input to rotary wing maintenance training development working jointly with the training and software development teams to create storyboards, training support packages, and review software builds for maintenance task and aircraft system accuracy.

 

Requirements:

  • Must be located within the Ft. Eustis commuting area or be willing to relocate to within the Ft. Eustis commuting area.
  • Compatible Previous Military Assignments: MOS: Any 15 series maintainer with 15K/B/D/F/N/U Highly Desired
  • Secret clearance preferred. Must be eligible to obtain Secret clearance, if required.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in US Army Aviation maintenance
    • Experience removing and installing aircraft parts, components and accessories with detailed guidance.
    • Experience in following detailed instructions in making routine, reoccurring repairs and modifications to aircraft parts, subassemblies and components, e.g. such as, installing and adjusting aircraft parts and equipment.
    • Experience installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting, and functionally testing the various major and minor mechanical and pneudraulic systems on an aircraft during overhaul or modification.
    • Experience coordinating the work of other mechanics, and scheduling maintenance to ensure completion of critical actions and optimum workflow.
  • Must have the ability to instruct mechanics, military and other personnel in the disassembly and re-assembly of an array of rotary wing aircraft parts and equipment.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and direct supervision
