June 18, 2021 – (Orlando, FL) – Mick Golson, chief operating officer for Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS), recently announced that Teresa Sewell has been promoted to Vice President of Corporate Operations. With over 23 years of quality assurance (QA), production, and project management experience, Sewell will utilize her military background and technical knowledge to develop strategies for efficient internal processes, enhanced quality and functionality, and implementation of day-to-day operations within the corporate headquarters located in Orlando, FL.

Golson states: “Teresa has been an integral part of our team since 2018. Her QA expertise and strong leadership abilities helped our firm recently appraise at level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI ML3) for Development v2.0. In addition, as a United States Air Force (USAF) veteran, Teresa understands that proper training and its retention can save lives. Her extensive background in technology development will help us continue to deliver unique global training solutions to our military, government, and commercial clients.”

Sewell served in the USAF for over 8 years as an air traffic control radar technician. She then became a Senior Software Engineer at a Fortune 500 company and transitioned to QA and project management for an educational services company and then another Fortune 500 corporation. She joined ECS as QA Manager in 2018 and was promoted to QA Director in 2020. Sewell values the importance of working closely with the entire ECS team to produce innovative global training products and services while exceeding client expectations.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and earned her master’s degree in business administration at Cardinal Stritch University.
