Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) announced that Candace Croughwell will join the company as capture and proposal manager, effective June 16. A proven leader in federal contracting and growth strategy, Croughwell brings more than a decade of experience in business development, enterprise partnerships, and government procurement.

“ECS operates at the intersection of innovation and mission readiness, and Candace understands exactly what it takes to thrive in that space,” said Gregory Kane, chief operating officer of ECS. “Her expertise in federal capture and strategic teaming will strengthen our ability to deliver next-generation training and technology solutions to our defense and government clients. She’s a strong asset as we continue expanding our footprint in this fast-evolving sector.”

In her new role, Croughwell will focus on expanding ECS’s federal and defense sector presence, identifying partnership opportunities, managing capture strategy, and driving competitive bids aligned with the company’s growth goals.

Most recently, Croughwell served as a federal account manager at TEKsystems, where she led cloud solution engagements with partners such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. She also served as director of enterprise partnerships and director of operations at Thazen, where she executed teaming agreements, managed subcontracts, and cultivated long-term government relationships.

Croughwell holds an associate degree from Lake-Sumter State College and remains active in the defense and innovation community through leadership roles with Women in Defense and the Interservice/ Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC).
