For the 6th Time, Engineering & Computer Simulations Appears on the Inc. 5000 Annual List of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies

August 15, 2018 – Orlando, FL: Inc. Magazine ranked Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) No. 4224 on its 37th Annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. With a three-year growth of 81 percent, ECS, an award-winning training solutions and services company that serves clients around the world, is among very few companies that have been represented on the list six times. This impressive list includes the most successful companies within the U.S. economy’s most dynamic segment— its independent small businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known companies gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.

Out of the nearly seven million private companies moving the American economy forward every day, only a tiny fraction have demonstrated such consistent high growth as those appearing on the current Inc. 5000 list. According to Inc., only about 12 percent of American companies achieve one-year revenue growth of 25 percent or more. Within the 5,000 companies just listed only 193, which is less than four percent, have made this respected list six times. ECS has been included on the Inc. 5000 list in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2016, 2017, and now 2018.

ECS CEO & President, Waymon Armstrong, said: “For more than 21 years, our company has provided global support to the U.S. military, government and private industry sectors, including health care and first-responders. The success of our company, and recognition such as this, are a true testament to our amazing team and our outstanding clients. We are extremely honored to be one of the rare companies included on this prestigious list for the sixth time.”

“If your company is on the Inc. 5000, it’s unparalleled recognition of your years of hard work and sacrifice,” says Inc. editor in chief James Ledbetter. “The lines of business may come and go or come and stay. What doesn’t change is the way entrepreneurs create and accelerate the forces that shape our lives.”
