Orlando – August 30, 2018 – Mick Golson, ECS chief of operations (COO), announced that Teresa Sewell has joined Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) as the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager. Working out of the company’s global headquarters in Orlando, Fla., Sewell brings over 20 years of QA, production and project management experience to her role. She will use her military background and technical knowledge to develop strategies for enhanced quality and functionality, which ECS’ development teams will incorporate into successful training services and relevant technology products to produce exceptional results for clients.

Golson states: “Our team provides training and services to our warfighters and first responders throughout the world, so quality is of the utmost importance. As a United States Air Force (USAF) veteran, Teresa understands that proper training can save lives. Her extensive background in technology development, project management, coupled with her strong leadership skills, will help ECS continue to deliver critical services to our military, government and commercial clients.

Sewell served in the USAF for over 8 years as an air traffic control radar technician. She then became a Senior Software Engineer at a Fortune 500 company and transitioned to QA and project management for an educational services company and then another Fortune 500 corporation. She values the importance of working closely with the development and project management teams to produce result-driven global training services.

Sewell holds a bachelor’s degree in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and earned her MBA at Cardinal Stritch University.
